B-STOCK - David Gilmour Red Fender Classic 50s Lacquer Stratocaster

This item is B-stock- this means it is a brand new item with a slight flaw, this one has a slight flaw in the neck finish which is how it arrived from fender. You can see this clearly photographed in the final photos, otherwise the item is brand new, it is purely a visual flaw in the lacquer finish and is not a structural issue.

We take a Fender Classic Series Candy Apple Red body and a Fender Classic 50s Lacquer neck(nitrocellulose)
Install the David Gilmour EMG Pickup Set- Spec Here
Install a Callham short trem arm to match the original
Fit a white scratchplate
Rout pickup cavities deeper to allow pickups to sit lower as per DG preference.
 
This mod is designed to get you as close as possible to David Gilmours Red Strat. No Signature model is available of this guitar so we went to great lengths to make a very closely inspired by model.
